X SERIES 5.7″ or 6.5″?
The 5.7″ (approx. 14.5 cm) is easier to handle for point cutting and detailing; the 6.5″ (approx. 16.5 cm) covers long sections and is ideal for slide, slicing and perimeters.
What does offset handle mean?
On an offset handle the thumb ring is shorter than the finger ring: the elbow stays low and the wrist in a natural position, with less strain on the shoulder and arm.
What is the difference between 440C and VG10 steel?
440C is a very hard stainless steel, reliable and easy to maintain – ideal for everyday salon use. VG10 is a finer-grained Japanese steel: it holds an even thinner, longer-lasting edge, ideal for advanced techniques such as slide and slice cutting.
