What hair type are 30-tooth thinning shears for?

Normal to thick hair, through the mid-lengths and ends. On fine hair, avoid working close to the root, where they can create unruly tufts.

How do I adjust the scissor tension?

With the micrometric adjustment you only need to turn the screw a few clicks: open the scissors to 90° and let the free blade drop – it should close about two thirds of the way. The ball bearing keeps the setting stable over time.
